A different way of looking at flooring.

ReCarp began with a simple question: what happens to a floor when it is replaced?

In many cases, carpet tiles are removed from a building after use and replaced with new materials. Yet a large portion of those tiles is still in excellent technical condition.

ReCarp looks at this differently. By collecting used carpet tiles, carefully selecting them, and applying them again, we give materials a second life in a new floor design.

This creates a different way of working with flooring: one in which design, quality, and reuse come together.

Our mission

Still, at ReCarp, sustainability is not the only starting point. The foundation is always design and quite simply, a good floor.

ReCarp is one of the pioneers in applying circular principles within the world of commercial flooring. By reusing existing materials, the lifecycle of carpet tiles is significantly extended.

This not only affects waste streams, but also energy use. Producing new carpet tiles is an energy-intensive process. By reusing tiles, a substantial amount of that energy can be saved.

That is why we carefully select used tiles for quality, durability, and appearance in our own warehouse. Only materials that are suitable for a second life are applied in a new design.

The result is commercial flooring that is not only circular, but also strong enough for intensive daily use.

Design as the starting point

ReCarp floor

At ReCarp, it starts with the design. A floor is not just a functional surface, but an important part of the interior.

That is why we have built a team of designers and architects around us who think from the perspective of material and space.

Through these collaborations, a distinctive combination emerges: circular materials translated into new floor designs with unique patterns.

Quality as the foundation

The carpet tiles we use are selected for their technical performance and suitability for commercial use. This means the quality is high and virtually indistinguishable from new. By recombining materials, we create floors with their own character, like the slightest differences in colour and texture that become part of the design.

This makes every floor unique.

At the same time, the floors remain fully suited to the spaces for which they are designed. In this way, ReCarp shows that a circular floor can be not only a sustainable choice, but also a design choice.
